Hotel Occupancy Rate
Rooms sold divided by rooms available, as a percentage.
Occupancy rate = rooms sold ÷ rooms available × 100. Selling 30 of 40 rooms = 75% occupancy.
High occupancy with low rates can still lose money — always read occupancy together with ADR (their product is RevPAR).
